PA MAYFIELD — Mayfield Borough Council overrode three mayoral vetoes on solar and tree zoning regulations. President Jennifer Rossi led unanimous votes for Ordinances 2026-15, 2026-16, and 2026-17, which regulate large-scale solar electric facilities and amend setback distances, all against Mayor Alexander J. Chelik's vetoes.
The Council also approved Ordinance 2026-26 on tree preservation without a veto override. The first two ordinances passed 5-0; the latter two passed 6-0 after Mary Rosler arrived, with Mark Mulvey absent.
