PA MAYFIELD — Mayfield Borough Council votes to adopt MS4 Pollutant Reduction Plan and awards recycling grant. The council unanimously approved the plan, with Council President Diana Campbell and Mayor Alexander Chelik to meet with the Department of Environmental Protection regarding an audit. The council unanimously approved Resolution 2026-09 authorizing application for a 902 Recycling Grant requiring a $9,000 borough match, and Resolution 2026-10 adopting a Section 504 grievance procedure for disability discrimination complaints.
Fire Chief Joseph Tomcavage reported 64 calls in 90 days, the worst year for fire calls in his tenure. The Flood committee scheduled an Army Corps inspection of the levee for June 24.
