Mayfield Council unanimously approved three solar zoning ordinances at a special meeting. The August 31 vote on Ordinances 2026-15, 2026-16, and 2026-17 regulating large-scale solar electric facilities in R-C zones passed with all six present council members voting in favor.

PA MAYFIELD — Mayfield Council unanimously approved three solar zoning ordinances at a special meeting. The August 31 vote on Ordinances 2026-15, 2026-16, and 2026-17 regulating large-scale solar electric facilities in R-C zones passed with all six present council members voting in favor. Vice President Wendy Bochnovich presided; Council President Diana Campbell was absent.
The council also unanimously authorized Borough Secretary Seanna Koerner, Council President Diana Campbell, and Mayor Alexander Chelik to execute the ordinances.
