Mayfield approves sewer service agreement with neighboring boroughs

PA MAYFIELD — Mayfield Council approves regional sewer service agreement. Council voted unanimously to approve an Intermunicipal Sewer Service Agreement and a Sewer Pass-Through Agreement with Jermyn and Archbald Boroughs, formalizing Mayfield's participation in the regional sewer system. Council also unanimously reappointed KBA as borough engineer and Attorney Owen Coleman as solicitor, and adopted Resolution 2026-07, the 2026 Northern Lackawanna Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan.

Fire Chief Joseph Tomcavage reported 22 calls for February; Police Chief Joe Perechinsky reported 334 calls. Act 32 tax revenue increased 15.52 percent for Mayfield.
