PA MAYFIELD — Mayfield Borough Council schedules October hearing on zoning ordinance. President Diana Campbell led a unanimous Council vote to submit the proposed Zoning Ordinance to Lackawanna County Regional Planning Commission for a 45-day public review period beginning August 3, 2026, with a public hearing scheduled for October 14, 2026, to consider adoption. The Council also scheduled a special July 13 meeting to address solar ordinance matters and voted to reject, after discussion, a proposed 180-day moratorium on renewable energy facilities and data centers.
The Council unanimously approved a $11,097.64 paving loan payoff from the general fund.
