Mayfield Council approves $540,000 mine reclamation change order

PA MAYFIELD — Mayfield Borough Council unanimously approves $540,000 mine reclamation grant change order, paving transfer. Council President Diana Campbell and members Wendy Bochnovich, Tom Hartman, Mary Rosler, and Dennis Ross voted unanimously to approve the change order and a $16,000 transfer from the debt fund to the paving loan. Council also unanimously promoted Joseph Sherpinskas to Senior Patrolman.
Fire Chief Joseph Tomcavage reported 13 fire calls in December; Police Chief Joe Perechinsky reported 325 police calls. Earned Income Tax collections increased $11,897, or 4.53 percent, compared to the same period in 2024.
